Emmanuelle Emani Love

Emani Love is a writer, multidisciplinary artist, and social scientist with a focus on Transformative Justice research and strategy. Emani is native to and a current resident of Detroit, Michigan. She has a background rich in movement work spanning many organizing disciplines including but not limited to: Healing  and wellness, equity for gender expansive people, coalition-building, environmentalism, outreach, harm reduction, and community self-reliance. 

As a writer she uses the instrument of writing to share messages of hope and strength and has been published in numerous publications including: Trans Bodies, Trans Selves Volume II, Riverwise Magazine, Zora (on Medium), and more. Emani has been a long time supporter of Allied Media Projects and has volunteered her time to the development of the Creative Coping and Grieving Arts Track as well as the Healing Justice Practice Space functioned during previous iterations of Allied Media Conference.
